Gary
Steinkohl is Senior Consulting Associate with Global Resources
and brings more than twenty years of line, training, and consulting
experience in accounting, finance, operations and technology.
He is an instructional designer, trainer, learning consultant,
and featured speaker with clients including ATMI, Deutsche Bank/Bankers
Trust, Canon, Chase Manhattan Bank, Citicorp/Citibank, Computer
Sciences Corporation, Deloitte & Touche, Dresser Industries,
Genentech, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Reuters, and Thomson
Financial Services.
In
addition to his work with Global Resources, Mr.Steinkohl
is President of Steinkohl Consulting where he serves as an instructor
and author for a range of global finance and accounting projects.
His consulting and training practice focuses on projects ranging
from teaching basic finance and accounting skills to guiding business
analysts through the rigors and challenges of financial analysis.
He is particularly proud of developing and delivering a year long
learning curriculum for PricewaterhouseCoopers consultants. Mr.
Steinkohl is the author of simulations delivered through live,
experiential seminars, self paced learning, and multimedia/CD-ROM
in such areas as accounting and finance fundamentals, financial
accounting & MIS data analysis, budgeting, financial analysis,
and treasury products accounting and analysis.
Prior
to launching Steinkohl Consulting, he worked at FISERV Consulting
and at Citibank where his position included VP-Training, Financial
Controller, and Business Manager. He worked for five years as
controller to Latin American businesses, two years as the country
controller in Panama where he managed business through the General
Noreiga crisis years, and four years as the global training officer
responsible for identifying, creating, and delivering finance,
accounting, and financial analysis training programs worldwide.
Mr.
Steinkohl holds an MBA in Accounting/Finance, a BS in Accounting/Finance,
and a BA in History from State University of New York.
