Five: Mastering Financial Analysis Day Five introduces managers to the excitement of analyzing and mastering the basic elements of balance sheets and income statements. Managers will be able to analyze how financial ratios can be used to determine operational efficiency. A series of group activities enables managers to assess which financial information is really critical for making decisions and how to evaluate and interpret financial reports. Managers conduct a "hands on" analysis of corporate accounts and determine the critical drivers of profitability. Key topics include: defining the components of the balance sheet and income statement; detailed balance sheet analysis; and income statement analysis and efficiency ratios.
