If you prefer, you may develop a project different from the ideas presented above, provided that it addresses the three main elements stated previously. If you choose to develop your own project, be sure to discuss it with your Northeastern University/MBA PowerPakCertification Project Advisor prior to beginning your work.
The Certification Project Advisor will be a MBA PowerPak Program Instructor as well as a resident professor at Northeastern University's College of Business Administration. The Certification Project Advisor will serve as your point-of-contact throughout the research and preparation of your research project.

Once your Northeastern University/MBA PowerPak Certification Project Advisor has been determined, you will have four weeks to research, prepare, and submit a draft copy of your paper. Your paper must be 20 - 25 pages in length and utilize standard research paper formats (e.g. footnotes, references, charts/tables as needed, etc.). During your four week research period, we encourage you to communicate with your Advisor and to utilize your Advisor as a project resource. Once the draft research paper has been submitted to your Advisor and you receive comments, you will be provided a date, location, and/or time to attend a Northeastern University/MBA PowerPak Certification Session to present your findings. Your final Northeastern University/MBA PowerPak Certification Project paper is due at the time of your presentation. Your Certification Advisor will then provide comments on both your presentation and the related paper within two weeks of your presentation.
