MBA
PowerPak Program Accreditation Offered Through the
IEEE
Global
Resources is authorized to offer 6.3 IEEE CEUs for students
who complete MBA PowerPak
The
IEEE has reviewed the course syllabus and has determined
that the requirements for offering CEUs, including the maintenance
of CEU records at IEEE for seven years, are being met according
to the guidelines of the International Association for Continuing
Education and Training (IACET). IEEE attests that Global
Resources has provided evidence that standards of good educational
practices, contained in IACET guidelines, are being met.
CEUs
can be earned to satisfy mandatory professional development
requirements that several states require for Professional
Engineers to maintain their PE licenses. Given the current
trend of state-mandated continuing education for licensed
professionals, the CEU, which equals 10 Professional Development
Hours (PDH's), provides a strong incentive for those wishing
to document professional development activities. Increasingly,
the CEU is being used as currency to measure participation
in formal, non-credit continuing education programs.
